Pizza Hut Partners With Cinnabon

You read that right: Pizza Hut is introducing mini cinnamon rolls made in partnership with Cinnabon.

The new dessert was added to the pizza chain’s menu last monday. 10 rolls are only $5.99. 

Pizza Hut describes the new item as “10 mini cinnamon rolls, topped with signature cream cheese frosting, are the perfect way to end pizza night.”

The rolls are the first permanent menu item added to the chain’s menu since June of 2015. This is when Pizza Hut released the Hershey’s Triple Chocolate Brownie, the Ultimate Hershey’s Chocolate Chip Cookie and Cinnamon sticks. All of these are still available on the menu.

“There’s nothing better than polishing off pizza night with something sweet,” said Marianne Radley, chief brand officer for Pizza Hut’s U.S. segment in a statement from the the Plano, Texas-based company, a subsidiary of Yum! Brands Inc. “Pizza Hut has a history of offering innovative menu items and craveable desserts that bring everyone around the table to enjoy.”

Customers who order the new dessert can earn points on the company’s “Hut Rewards” program. Beginning in October, members can ean free breadsticks at 75 points. Previously, consumers could only earn a free medium 2-topping pizza at 150 points.

Cinnabon operates more than 1,400 franchises throughout the U.S. Pizza hut clocks in at more than 16,800 restaurants.
